Ovril is a voice of resilience, restoration, and divine purpose. A seasoned Hair Stylist, Entrepreneur, Evangelist, and Counselor, she carries a unique blend of compassion, creativity, and wisdom—earned through both success and suffering. Her journey began as a top stylist and trusted confidant across multiple cities, but her true transformation unfolded after facing deep personal and spiritual loss.

Following the passing of her beloved mother, Ovril answered a lifelong call to ministry, graduating from seminary and serving as Co-Pastor. But as her heart opened to divine service, she also encountered the painful reality of misplaced leadership and betrayal within spiritual spaces. Losing nearly everything she built, Ovril walked through the valley of grief, disillusionment, and silence—but came out with a voice more powerful than ever.

From that experience came Seen Only When You’re Leaving, her most vulnerable and spiritually grounded work to date. Written for those who’ve been overlooked, undervalued, or wounded by those they trusted, this book is not just her story—it’s a healing guide for anyone connected to her journey and those walking through their own season of exit and emergence.

She previously founded The Twins Cry Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to supporting women and young girls affected by sexual and mental abuse—a reflection of her deep compassion and advocacy. Though the organization has since closed, its impact lives on through the lives it touched and the mission that still beats in her heart.

Whether counseling clients, mentoring youth, or igniting healing through her words, Ovril remains anchored by faith and the love of her two sons. Her life is a living testimony that even after great loss, God’s purpose still prevails.
