Heri Mimi is the Founder and Transformation Architect behind Shujaa Rising, a leadership and human development movement built on a structured transformational framework: Awaken, Align, Arise.

She works at the intersection of leadership development, emotional intelligence, conflict transformation, communication, and identity formation, helping individuals and institutions move from confusion to clarity, from clarity to alignment, and from alignment to purposeful, values-driven action.

Her work is grounded in a deep belief that human transformation is both intentional and structured. Every individual carries the capacity for excellence, leadership, and impact when equipped with the right clarity, tools, and inner alignment.

Heri’s professional background spans leadership development, youth and institutional mentorship, communication, mediation, emotional intelligence, theology, and civic engagement. Across these domains, her consistent focus has been the same: facilitating transformation in people, systems, and communities.

She brings together formal training and lived experience in:

• mediation and conflict resolution,
• emotional intelligence and human behaviour systems,
• life coaching and personal transformation,
• communication and leadership development,
• and governance and civic engagement.

Her work is not motivational - it is structural. It is designed to help individuals and institutions build clarity, strengthen identity, resolve internal and external conflict, and lead with intentionality and impact.

At the core of her philosophy is one conviction: Transformation is not accidental. It is a process of awakening, alignment, and disciplined becoming.

Heri is an ordained minister in the Anglican Church of Kenya as well as the author of several books.

Heri has a Master's Degree in Armed Conflict and Peace Studies, a Bachelor's Degree in Media & Communication Technology with IT and a Diploma in Theology. She is also a Certified Mediator, a Certified Life Coach and Emotional Intelligence Practitioner. She is based in Mombasa, Kenya.
