Heri Mimi is a blessed force that initiates change!

A master builder of warriors, mentor, and pastor of youth with a passion for shaping the next generation into bold, disciplined, and Christ-centered leaders. With a shepherd's heart for discipleship and a gift for mentorship, she has dedicated her life to equipping young people with the spiritual, mental, and moral strength to stand firm in their faith and impact society.

As a mentor, Heri Mimi is committed to raising warriors who are not only spiritually grounded but also empowered to overcome life’s challenges with courage and wisdom. As a pastor of youth, she has inspired countless young men and women to discover their identity in Christ, live with integrity, and pursue excellence in every area of their lives.

With a warrior spirit driven by a vision of transformation, Heri Mimi continues to serve faithfully, instilling discipline, resilience, and purpose in those entrusted to her care - building not just individuals, but a generation of warriors for God’s Kingdom. She raises these warriors through her coaching consultancy, Shujaa Rising Consulting.

Heri is an ordained minister in the Anglican Church of Kenya as well as the author of several books.

Heri has a Master's Degree in Armed Conflict and Peace Studies, a Bachelor's Degree in Media & Communication Technology with IT and a Diploma in Theology. She is also a Certified Mediator, a Certified Life Coach and Emotional Intelligence Practitioner. She is based in Mombasa, Kenya.

Arise African Youth!

Heri is a Youth Mentor with 20 years experience. As a youth leader she was selected to be part of the prestigious Mandela Washington Fellowship (2022) at the University of Georgia (GA, USA) where she was empowered with skills in Leadership Civic Engagement which she now uses to mentor other youth. She is passionate about empowering the youth of Africa to be change makers in their spheres of influence. Heri envisions an African continent where the youth engage in civic activities and the leadership of their nations. The African youth are the Shujaas!

Ilizwi Moja Africa

Heri is also the Co-Founder of Ilizwi Moja Africa. This is a platform founded by three Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni from Kenya, South African and the Kingdom of Eswatini, with the aim of giving the African youth a voice and stage to discuss pertinent issues. Ilizwi Moja Africa aims to empower African youth to be the leaders and the change makers in their communities. Currently, this is done through the Ilizwi Moja Africa Podcast

The Content Creator

Heri has always loved singing. Heri believes in making a joyful noise unto the Lord. Heri hopes her joyful noise is also musical and pleasant to the ear :) She loves to do covers of songs as well as try her hand at writing originals.
