Hi, I'm Louise!

I'm a qualified primary teacher, English specialist and, most importantly, a mum who believes that learning together is one of the most rewarding parts of family life.

After 16 wonderful years in primary education, I chose to step away from the classroom to spend more time with my daughter. She's now three years old, and we plan to begin our own home education journey together. Like many parents, I want learning to feel meaningful, enjoyable and naturally woven into family life.

Throughout my teaching career, I specialised in English, leading reading and writing, and helping children develop a lifelong love of books.

One thing I learnt is that the very best learning often begins with a great story.

That's why I created Home-Ed Literacy.

My resources are designed to help families learn together. Every bundle is built around one story and includes reading, writing and cross-curricular activities that siblings aged 4–11 can enjoy together, with each child working at a level that's right for them.

My hope is that these resources take the pressure out of home education, giving you less time planning and more time reading, exploring and making memories together. Every activity has been thoughtfully created using my experience as an English specialist, while embracing the flexibility and freedom that make home education so special.
