About Inger

This book has been a long process. I started as a Tarot reader and ended up as a Kriyaban. I had long loved the stories about Thor and Odin, even encountered many spiritual beings in my astral journeys. You can imagine the shock when I realised the stories I loved described the same journey I had just embarked on. Everything came full circle in my life. Old Norse traditions blended with the East; different cultures describing the same journey.

Grímnismál is perhaps the most relevant story that can reach us from across the ancestral veil. How we have been reduced to live behind our false egos! Lies and deception lurk everywhere. I believe we are always on the Vision Quest one way or the other, because life is a process of letting go and starting over. It can be a very traumatic experience unless we have a firm grasp of who we are. But how can we know if we never look within? How easy is it to live behind our own Geirröðr, pretending to be someone we are not? How hard is it to be vulnerable and honest with ourselves? Our ancestors knew us better than we know ourselves, and with their stories they are still guiding us.
