REFUND POLICY
Six-Month Results-Based Refund Policy
Hunts Capitol provides a results-based refund review for eligible clients who complete the full six-month program and receive no measurable results from the services performed.
For purposes of this policy, measurable results may include, but are not limited to:
- A deletion of an inaccurate, unverifiable, incomplete, or outdated item
- An account correction or update
- A balance correction
- A removal of an unauthorized inquiry
- A change in an account’s reporting status
- A correction to personal information
- Another documented change appearing on a client’s credit reports
A credit-score increase is not required for a result to have occurred. Credit scores may increase, decrease, or remain unchanged for reasons outside the control of Hunts Capitol.
Refund Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for a results-based refund, the client must:
- Complete the full six-month service period.
- Maintain active SmartCredit monitoring throughout the program.
- Keep accurate and accessible SmartCredit login information on file.
- Provide all requested identification, proof-of-address documents, credit reports, account information, and supporting documentation.
- Respond to Hunts Capitol’s requests within a reasonable period.
- Forward all relevant responses received from credit bureaus, creditors, collectors, or other furnishers.
- Avoid independently submitting conflicting disputes concerning the same accounts while Hunts Capitol is actively providing services.
- Avoid applying for excessive new credit or taking actions that substantially change the credit profile during the program.
- Remain in compliance with the client service agreement.
- Submit the refund request within 14 calendar days after completing the six-month program.
Failure to meet these requirements may affect eligibility for the voluntary results-based refund.
Situations That Do Not Qualify for a Refund
Except where a refund is required by law, refunds will generally not be issued when:
- The client received one or more documented results
- The client stops participating before completing the six-month program
- The client fails to maintain the required credit monitoring
- The client changes, cancels, or withholds access to the credit-monitoring account
- The client fails to provide required documents or information
- The client submits inaccurate, incomplete, altered, or misleading information
- The client fails to communicate or respond to reasonable requests
- The client independently disputes the same accounts and interferes with the service process
- The client’s credit score does not increase, but other report corrections or results occurred
- A creditor, collector, credit bureau, lender, or other third party refuses to remove accurate and verifiable information
- The client is dissatisfied solely because results took longer than expected
- The client is denied credit, housing, employment, financing, or another product
- The charge relates to SmartCredit or another third-party service
- The request is made outside the applicable refund-request period
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights provided to a consumer under federal or state law.
Processing Approved Refunds
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever possible. Processing times depend on the payment processor and the client’s financial institution.
Hunts Capitol is not responsible for bank-processing delays after a refund has been submitted.
Chargebacks and Billing Concerns
Clients should contact Hunts Capitol at info@huntscapitol.net before filing a payment dispute so that any billing concern can be reviewed and addressed.
Submitting a chargeback does not automatically establish eligibility for a refund. Hunts Capitol may provide the payment processor with the signed service agreement, proof of completed services, correspondence, login records, digital-delivery records, dispute activity, and other relevant documentation when responding to a payment dispute.
Nothing in this section prevents a client from exercising any lawful rights available through their financial institution or applicable consumer-protection laws.
Policy Acceptance
By purchasing services, signing the client agreement, or continuing to participate in the Hunts Capitol program, the client acknowledges that they have reviewed and accepted this Refund and Cancellation Policy.
