Interview about the new book “The Princess and the Old Man”

This is the first interview conceded by Victoria Lewis in regard of her work in erotica.

Illicit Thoughts (IT): Hi! congratulations for your new book! And thank you for this interview, we know you are a very private person.

Victoria Lewis (VL): Thanks. Thank you for all your support.

IT: We love your work. Your last title is “The Princess and the Old Man”. How different is this from your other publications? What is it about?

VL: Well, every book is different, but I think this is a more unusual work compared with my previous publications. I mean it’s much longer, with over 17,000 words in a single delivery. My shorts are closer to 8,000 or 9,000 words. I had a harder time writing it, harder than before.

IT: We noticed. We missed you since hadn't published in a while.

VL: Well, I’ve written other things too. Unfinished stories, some re editions and new short stories in medium (that you helped me to publish). But this book was different from the others. It’s about a grown man who meets a pretty boy, a young adult, who then transitions into a girl with the man's help.

IT: A trans erotic story?

VL: Yes, a trans girl and a mature man. Just in case, a disclaimer: I don’t presume to know anything about real transgender people. The story is a fiction, a sexual fantasy like my other stories.

IT: You’ve written before about transerotica, for example in "Fiery Passions", also in "Lost Girl" and "A Letter from Asia". You went more in deep in "My Lover, Her Lover" (story about a trans girl who reaches legal age, time when she will live with her much more older lover). The theme is not entirely strange for your pen.

VL: You are right. However I think it is important to warn the readers that this is different to my other previous erotic stories. My readers are more used to stories about cuckoldry, hotwifing, cheating wives and interracial, which is what I write the most about. It's true that "My Lover, Her Lover" is different too, and in a way is a precedent for this my last book. But yet "My Lover" delivers cheating, and hotwifing plots also.

Instead, “The Princess and the Old Man” is more focused in the relation between a mature man, and a vagina-less girl, to put it in some way. It's on how a straight man falls for a girl like Bev (the protagonist). There are other differences in social class, race, culture, age and power. He is richer, more experienced, etc. But still there is a man in crisis, and also tenderness, not the mere "use" of the other's body.

IT: Well, the "use" is not bad too. If it's among consensual adults everything is ok, right?

VL: Ok. Yeah. But this story has elements that brings closer with "steam romance". There is sex, there is erotica, transgression. But there is also a growing relationship. It's about a straight man, and deep down perhaps a bit of a conservative, who is getting closer and closer to a person he would never have known otherwise. Walt (the narrator and protagonist) supports Bev (the protagonist), is it because he has become fond of her or because he wants to fuck "something different"?

IT: Well, steam romance is still in the wide family of erotica

VL: Yes. Anyway, for the said reasons, I don't expect that much people will read it. But I enjoyed to write it, I put lot of time to make it ready for publishing. And so I'm happy for this to be published.

IT: That's the spirit! Are you going to keep posting trans erotica?

VL: Well, it's one category of my books. So I suppose I will continue with it, but not soon. I am "chewing" new stories on cuckoldry and hotwifing.

IT: And we will be eager waiting to read them!

VL: Thank you.

IT: Thank you very much for this interview. I hope will repeat.

VL: Me too!
