A relationship changes → despair.

The circumstances speak…

and we listen.

But Kingdom living introduces another possibility:

What if what is happening around you doesn’t get the final word about what happens within you?

The visible world can give you information.

But information isn’t necessarily final authority.

Your circumstances can tell you what is happening.

They don’t have to tell you who you are.

WHAT IS “THE DOME”?

Imagine standing underneath a transparent dome.

Everything outside is still visible.

You can see it.

You can hear it.

You can feel its effects.

But the dome represents another reality—a protected internal environment from which you interpret what is happening outside.

That is the picture behind Inside The Dome.

Your world outside may change constantly.

But the Kingdom within you provides another reference point.

The question becomes:

Which reality will govern you?

The world around you?

Or the truth within you?

Kingdom living doesn’t mean pretending problems don’t exist.

It means refusing to allow problems to become your master.

YOU ARE MORE THAN WHAT YOU SEE.

Your body interacts with the visible world.

Your soul processes thoughts, emotions, memories, and decisions.

Your spirit is designed for relationship with God.

And when you don’t understand the distinction, the visible world can become your master.

Your feelings are real.

Your circumstances are real.

Your experiences are real.

But none of them automatically define your identity.

You are not your worst day.

You are not your bank balance.

You are not your failure.

You are not someone else’s opinion of you.

You must learn to see yourself from the Source.

IDENTITY COMES BEFORE ACTIVITY.

Religion often begins with:

“What must I do?”

The Kingdom begins with:

“Who am I?”

When you understand your identity, your behavior begins to change because your reference point has changed.

You don’t perform your way into identity.

You learn to live from the identity established through Christ.

Identity produces behavior.

Change the identity you believe, and you begin changing the life you live.

DISCOVER THE KINGDOM WITHIN

Your external life is often influenced by internal agreements.

What you repeatedly think about matters.

What you repeatedly meditate on matters.

What you repeatedly speak matters.

What you repeatedly act upon matters.

Your inner world becomes the operating system for your outer world.

So don’t only ask:

“What is happening in my life?”

Ask the deeper question:

“What is governing my life?”

FACTS ARE NOT ALWAYS FINAL AUTHORITY.

A bank account can tell you what’s currently there.

A medical report can contain facts about a current condition.

Someone can reject you.

Those things can be real.

But what you interpret from those facts is another matter.

Facts describe conditions.

Truth governs interpretation.

Kingdom citizens don’t deny facts.

They simply refuse to let facts become their god.

You don’t wait for circumstances to become favorable before deciding who you are.

You know who you are first.

Then you face the circumstance from that position.

SOURCE OR RESOURCE?

This may be one of the most important distinctions in the book.

Your:

• Job
• Bank account
• Relationships
• Education
• Business
• Government
• Body

can all be resources.

But none of them are your ultimate Source.

God is Source. Everything else is resource.

Resources can change.

The Source cannot.

Use resources.

Don’t make resources your source.

RENEW YOUR MIND.

Transformation requires a renewed mind.

What occupies your meditation?

What do you replay?

What do you fear?

What do you anticipate?

What do you confess?

What conversations do you repeatedly have with yourself?

Kingdom meditation intentionally redirects your attention toward God’s truth.

Read it.

Hear it.

Think about it.

Speak it.

Practice it.

Live it.

The goal isn’t merely information.

The Word must move from information into internal agreement.

YOUR WORDS REVEAL YOUR AGREEMENT.

Inside The Dome explores confession not as positive thinking, but as agreement—bringing your spoken words into alignment with what you have accepted as truth.

Your words reveal and reinforce your internal government.

What you consistently say influences what you consistently expect.

And what you expect influences how you behave.

YOUR RESPONSE IS YOUR GOVERNMENT.

You may not control everything that happens.

But you have tremendous responsibility for how you respond.

Someone can insult you.

You choose your response.

Someone can disappoint you.

You choose your response.

A circumstance can change.

You choose your response.

You can feel anger without becoming anger.

You can feel fear without obeying fear.

You can experience uncertainty without abandoning trust.

Your response becomes a declaration of who is governing you.

THE KINGDOM RESPONSE

When something happens that disturbs you, don’t immediately react.

Pause.

Then walk through the Kingdom Response:

1. SEE

What are the actual facts?

2. KNOW

What does God say about who I am and what is true?

3. THINK

What interpretation am I attaching to these facts?

4. SPEAK

What am I agreeing with?

5. ACT

What response reflects Kingdom government?

6. LIVE

What would it look like to continue from this position?

This creates space between the event and your response.

That space is powerful.

It gives you an opportunity to choose government instead of reaction.

STOP ASKING “WHY ME?”

Sometimes the question:

“Why is this happening to me?”

can keep you trapped.

Try another question:

“What does God want accomplished through me in this?”

That question moves you from victimhood toward purpose.

Your assignment isn’t necessarily to control every environment.

Your assignment is to represent the King within whatever environment you enter.

Your workplace.

Your family.

Your relationships.

Your community.

Every environment can become an opportunity to express Kingdom culture.

FROM OUTSIDE-IN TO INSIDE-OUT

There are two ways to live.

OUTSIDE-IN

Circumstance → Emotion → Thought → Words → Behavior

INSIDE-OUT

Truth → Identity → Thought → Words → Action → Circumstance/Response

Outside-in living says:

“I feel it, therefore it must be true.”

Inside-out living says:

“I know the truth, therefore I can respond differently.”

The goal isn’t a trouble-free life.

The goal is a governed life.
