J D Currums is a Caithness based indie author working mostly in crime, thriller and supernatural genres.

Special areas of interest include strong female characters that push against stereotypes, sexual and domestic abuse and missing people.

Current releases include a crime short story series 'Death In the Highlands' and her debut novel 'Prey' which looks at the secret menace that lurks in society and is often hiding in plain sight. Paired with the vulnerabilities between childhood and independence as an adult.

Upcoming novel is a thriller based on the space left behind when a mother goes missing and the lengths a child will go to to find the truth.
