J&D stands for John and David.

John—known to most as Tush—has spent more than 70 years in the fishing industry. Now that both John and Pat have retired, I felt it would be a real loss for all of their knowledge, skill, and professionalism to simply fade away.

That’s why we’ve created a series of informal, easy‑to‑follow videos featuring John demonstrating his approach to fish filleting and shellfish preparation. John is very clear that these are the methods he has developed over a lifetime of experience—he’s not saying everyone should do it his way, just sharing the techniques that have served him well.

My name is David, John and Pat`s brother in-law, John has been mentoring me in the past 12 years in the fishing industry.
