Jasmine Avery is a daughter of God, first and always. She has spent the past decade serving in campus ministry alongside her husband, Chris. Together, they co-pastor a campus ministry with a heart to see students encounter Jesus and be rooted in truth.

Through years of teaching, mentoring, and discipling, Jasmine has walked closely with others through seasons of isolation, transition, and deep questioning—while also learning firsthand how to find true satisfaction in the presence of God. Her own journey through loneliness shaped the message of Surrounded, written as both a testimony and a declaration: intimacy with God is available even in the quiet, hidden places.
