Reviews of My Arrangements

“Jason’s command of the guitar as a player, and his thoughtful and beautiful guitar arrangements (for all levels of players and students), clearly demonstrate his deep commitment to excellence in music performance and education. His spirit, musicality, and skills shine brightly! I just worked through his wonderful arrangement of “Breathe on Me, Breath of God (level 3).” I am digging into his arrangement of “Moonlight in Vermont” this week! Thanks very much Jason! Continued success!”

"I am a beginning player, somewhere slightly above a novice but not intermediate. I was looking for some Christmas music to play for my family that was achievable, but sounded polyphonic and a little more complex than the average beginner pieces. Jason's arrangement of O Come, O Come, Emmanuel was exactly what I was looking for. I am really looking forward to playing this piece for my family on Christmas Eve."

"I found Jason on YouTube with his incredibly beautiful and impeccably played version of “A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square.” He sent me the arrangement and I have been working on it ever since. I have never found a version of this song for solo guitar that is better. What a great guy to talk to also, his passion for music is evident, and I can't wait to learn more from him. I feel like I accidentally stumbled across a treasure trove of things to learn. Amazing. Thank you Jason!”

“When I saw your website I was overjoyed to see that you had tabs and sheet music for hymns that I sing at church. I quickly bought your “Breathe on me Breath of God (level 1)” arrangement downloaded a few of your free resources. I love the sound of “Breathe on me Breath of God!” It is giving me something to work on that I actually want to learn and it is simple! When I’ve mastered level one I can move on to level two. This gets me excited! I’m looking forward to playing my guitar like when I first picked it up! Your material has blessed me and reignited my passion. Thank you.”

“I have been playing guitar of various styles (starting with classical) since I was a teenager back in the 70s. I have recently begun playing guitar in church, and I am trying to build a repertoire of hymns. I have a lot of good arrangements but most of them are pretty challenging and take time for me to learn. Your level 2 arrangements are perfect in that they sound great but I can basically sight read them. I will be buying more!”

“I happened to stumble across your youtube channel the other day and found out about your arrangements. I got into playing chord melody on the uke and really love it. I've been working on teaching myself how to play similar things on guitar and your arrangements are perfect for my level of playing. I would say I am somewhere more in the level 2 category, but the level 1 arrangements are good depending on my mood. I am really enjoying your Fingerstyle Christmas books! I also love the worship music you sent me and you have on your channel. I find listening to and playing those songs very moving."
