About Me
Javier Valdi is a guitarist, producer and teacher based in Amsterdam. He is a graduate of the Amsterdam Conservatory and an active musician. He has supported bands such as Textures with his solo project, and has given clinics and masterclasses at Dutch guitar festivals. Javier actively collaborates with brands such as Ibanez, with whom he was one of the brand’s artists who played at Bologna Guitar Show 2026, alongside other artists such as Kiko Loureiro, Luca Mantovanelli and others. He writes instrumental progressive metal, with a focus on virtuosic guitar playing and a strong emphasis on harmony and rhythm.
Javier’s debut EP Serendipia (2025) and the single Protocol 5 (2026) earned him a good reputation in the Dutch guitar and metal scene. He took part in The Curse Made Flesh’s debut album To Each Their Hell (2026), writing and recording the guitars together with bassist Joost van der Graaf, the band’s leader.
