Today is Thursday. Today is Creepy Thursday. Oh my God! I couldn't believe that this was happening. Melisha, Jean, and I slept the entire night. We didn't even know what was happening. We woke up in the middle of a creepy forest. The trees in the forest were withered and swallowed by a reposing mist that felt dark and lonely. This forest was extremely haunted and we all knew it. Where was my house? I didn't know where my house was. It just vanished mysteriously. How can a house just disappear like that? It was not possible but it did happen which was very strange.

"Where the hell are we?" Melisha and Jean asked confusingly. The expressions on their faces were clear enough that they were terrified. I still had the Hacranium knife in my grasp that the demons feared. The trees were making strange noises and their roots were moving.

"What are we going to do now? The house disappeared and now we are stuck in the middle of a haunted forest that gives me the creeps. Haven't we been through enough of this bullshit already?" Melisha uttered. She was frustrated. Honestly, I didn't have much to say as my mind was still puzzled. Jean was looking around the place like a toddler that have lost her mother in a crowd. We were all experiencing hysteria.

Wait a minute, I saw two of my flashlights resting next to a tree nearby. That was a good sign for me. I picked them up, tested them and they were still working. At least we had some light to help us see a little better in the unstill mist. Melisha wanted one of the flashlights so I gave her one—the other one was for me. Jean was beside me. Where are we going to go? I didn't have a clue. We were just randomly going on an expedition in the haunted forest. I had a bad feeling about this haunted forest. If my house was the only thing that was protecting us, now that it has vanished, anything could happen to us.

We started walking deeper into the creepy forest with our eyes everywhere riped in fear and confusion. Our hearts were profoundly disturbed by the unwelcoming sounds of the trees that mocked us with moderate movement. I could feel the eyes of death watching us the farther we venture into the forest of mystery. Big wings flapped above us but we did not see the beast of the mist for it was hiding behind the face of low clouds. Was this our end? Was this how we were all going to die? We were in a nightmare that was real and the horror within such a nightmare was heart-frightening. I could not explain what was happening.

"Shh," Jean shushed Melisha and me, "I thought I heard something in the trees over there."

"I heard it too," Melisha joined, "There is something over there."

"Guys, I think we better hide now," I warned them. Bam! Something big charged at us and broke a tree. We were very lucky. We almost die by whatever was lurking in the mist. At this point, we just started running for our lives. We split up. I managed to find a hiding spot. I crawled into a big hollow log to hide from whatever was out there. I turned off the flashlight and stayed quiet. I could hear something big chasing Jean and Melisha. My heart skipped a beat when I saw huffs standing next to the log I was hiding in—big huffs. Whatever it was it disappeared in the mist. I saw Jean and Melisha running towards where I was. There were two other logs like the one I was in. They crawled in the logs as fast as they could but Melisha forgot to switch off her flashlight.

I signaled to her to switch off the flashlight. As she did I saw the big huffs next to Melisha’s hiding spot. She covered her mouth to suppress her screams as she shivered in fright. The beastly demon stooped beside the log. My heart skipped a beat. The head of the demon was similar to a goat head. Its horns were mighty and big and it breathed fire from its nostrils. The body of the demon was covered in fur and had a man-like figure. It had arms like humans and big hands. It was a beast from hell. It was called Duphanee: The prince of fire in the Chamber of Torment in hell. SHE was the mother of the beast. The beast stared at me with its flaming eyes as if it knew I had something it feared.

It tried to pull me out of the log but I crawled farther in it to evade the hands of the vicious demon. Jean and Melisha crawled farther in the logs. I came out of the log and tried to get them out before the beast realize I wasn’t in the log. I dragged the women out of the logs. Duphanee became agitated and blew fire at us but we were still alive. There was a protective shield around us. It saved us from the vicious flames of the demon. We had no choice but to go back in the logs. Duphanee pushed the logs were in down a hill. The logs rolled uncontrollably down the hill. We smashed into the trees below. We felt dizzy but we were still alive. I crawled out of the log and then the women did. My flashlight was still in the log so I took it out while the others ran off and left me behind. I gazed upon the hill and saw Duphanee spreading his wings to fly. Melisha left her flashlight in the log but I didn't have time to get it. Melisha and Jean disappeared into the mist. I didn't know where they went so I just started running as fast as I could to evade the demon of that spat fire.

"Mattew! Over here! Hurry!" The ladies yelled. They were in a cabin. I told them I was coming. I could hear the heaving wings behind me. Duphanee was right behind. As soon as I jumped into the cabin the ladies closed the door quickly. We were safe in the cabin for now. Duphanee roared and the boards of the cabin shocked. It was aggressive because it didn’t get to kill me.

It has been an hour now and we haven't heard anything outside. The atmosphere was dead silent. The batteries of the flashlight were depleting. Luckily I found a lamp that lights itself. Suddenly, the ambiance in the cabin became frigid. Maybe it was snowing outside. Curiosity was killing me so I decided to peep through the window to have a look and that was when I realized it was snowing outside. Snow was everywhere. I told Melisha and Jean and they couldn't believe it.

"What are we going to do now?" Jean asked. The fireplace in the cabin became lit and the chair in front of it gyrated. The demon cat with the red eyes was seated in the chair. The cat wore an eyeglass. The cat was reading a book and elegantly sipping a coffee. I supposed we have invaded its dwelling place.

"Nice to see you guys again. Oh, we have company—a new member has joined the team. This must be Jean Smith, right?" The demon cat uttered.

"Yes, I am Jean," Jean answered while walking toward me.

"What are you doing here?" Melisha asked.

"I should be the one asking you that question. This is my cabin and you have invaded my space and displayed no form of courtesy towards me. Humans are so impolite these days."

"I don't care," Melisha added.

"This little b*tch is getting on my last nerves, you bloody cunt. I don't even like the very air you release in my cabin, you human garbage."

"Look who is talking a demon Pus*y."

"How dare you, you little shit." The demon cat answered angrily. He threw the cup of coffee on Melisha and started fighting her fist to fist. Melisha kicked the demon across the room and the cat smote her with a broomstick and it broke.

"This is not over you little twat. How dare you come into my house and raise a finger against me? I will teach you some manners." The demon cat pronounced. He tripped her, lifted her dress, and started beating her bum with a leather strap. Melisha slapped the cat, took up the strap, and started beating the cat with it.

"Meow! Meow!" The demon cat cried as Melisha beat him.

"Okay, enough. You have beaten him enough." I intervened. The demon cat was crying while he sit on his chair. Jean and I were inaudible for some seconds. The fight happened so fast. Melisha got her revenge. I didn't want her to kill the cat because the cat was our only way out of the haunted forest. The demon cat walked like a human. What you don't know doesn't hurt but as soon as you know it, it hurts you immediately.

Today is Friday and we are still alive but still trapped in the cabin with the demon cat. The cat refused to talk. I just woke up. I struggled to get up off the ground. I felt like an old man. My hands looked withered—I still didn't know what was happening. Jean and Melisha got up, stared at each other, and screamed. That was when I realized they were old and I was too.

"What the hell is happening? What happened to us? Why are we old? Oh my God! I am just nineteen years old and I am an old lady already. I can’t believe this is happening." Melisha exclaimed.

"Mattew," Jean stared at me, "We are old. I can't even walk as I use to." We were all surprised by our sudden change in appearance. A cane was on the ground next to me and I couldn't even pick it up. It was painful to bend. Melisha took up the cane for me and farted loudly. She was frightened by the sound of her loud flatulence.

"Guys, I am not joking. I think something is wrong with my ass." Melisha said.

"What do you mean, Melisha?" I asked.

"I can't feel it moving. Here it comes." She warned us. She farted loudly again for about six seconds and smashed into the wall.

"Are you okay?" Jean asked her. Melisha replied and told Jean that she felt relief. I was always the unlucky one because I was the only one walking with a cane. I was agitated not being able to walk properly. Melisha, Jean, and I have become mysterious old. We were forgetting something. Where was that demon cat? He wasn't in the chair. We searched the entire cabin for the demon cat and we didn’t find him. Probably he was hiding. The front door opened and there he was standing on his two back legs with a cane. He hopped inside the cabin and closed the door. He looked at us and started laughing. He couldn't believe what he was seeing.

"Were you guys the same people that were here?" The cat asked.

"Yes," We all answered.

We didn't want to ask the demon cat for help but we had to because we had no choice and we didn't know where we were going. It was messed up but it was what it was. Jean was signaling to me not to ask the demon cat for help but what other options did we have. We were old and we couldn't even walk properly.

"Hey, cat, we need your help," I said.

"Me helping you people? You wish. Not in a million years. Besides, how far do you think you can go in this snow with your old bodies? You old people nowadays always want to do young people stuff." The demon cat uttered and giggled.

"If you wanted to kill us you would have already done it but you didn't. I have the Hacranium knife--"

"How? Who gave that to you?"

"My father used to use this knife to kill your kind."

"You carry the blade of death like it is nothing. Okay, I will help you. I will bring you to Palbania, it's the biggest cemetery in the Forest of the Mist—the only one. My brothers and sisters will be there and also Duphanee. You must be very careful. I don't know how long the curse of age will be upon you but I only hope that it ends before you all reach Palbania."

"Why did you choose to help us?"

"Because your father helped me more than once so I am returning a favor to his son."

"I understand," I responded. Well, at least he was going to help us. We put on some winter clothing that he gave us and it was time to commence the expedition to Palbania. We exited the house and started walking slowly. If we were to walk like this to wherever Palbania was it would take us weeks if not months. We were all going slowly. I guess we just have to take our time as we are old.
