Lineage & Stewardship

Remember Light is not an organization, institution, or spiritual authority. It is a contemplative field held through stewardship.

Rather than hierarchy, we preserve lineage. Rather than control, we practice guardianship. Rather than leadership, we offer responsibility.

Lineage here does not mean transmission of power, status, or doctrine.

It means:

• Continuity of ethical holding

• Preservation of contemplative integrity

• Protection of silence and sovereignty across time

Lineage in Remember Light is not vertical. It is custodial.

Each generation receives the field in trust and tends it for those who will come after.

The Founder serves as originating steward of the field.

This role carries:

• Responsibility for ethical foundation

• Guardianship of the Charter

• Protection of boundaries and scope

• Preservation of non‑hierarchy

The Founder holds no spiritual authority over members. Only responsibility for the integrity of the field itself.

Stewards are entrusted to:

• Tend conditions rather than direct experience

• Protect safety and sovereignty

• Preserve silence and depth

• Intervene only when integrity or care requires it

Stewards claim no special status. They are witnesses, not authorities.

All stewards serve under the ethical commitments of the Facilitator Covenant.

Remember Light is protected through:

• The Founding Charter

• The Community Covenant

• The Facilitator Covenant

• Transparent roles and clear boundaries

• Regular ethical reflection and recommitment

No evolution of the work may violate these foundations.

This field is not owned. It is tended.

May those who hold it do so lightly. May those who enter it remain free.
