Heather Paxton is a poet, therapist, and emotional documentarian whose work explores memory, motherhood, grief, resilience, and the quiet work of becoming. She writes for those learning to live more gently than they were taught, believing that stories and the people within them deserve to be witnessed with honesty and compassion.

Her debut poetry chaplet, Daughter, Mother, Me, was originally published under the pen name K. Stone and reflects the beginning of that journey. Heather lives in North Carolina with her family, where she is at work on her first memoir, The House I Learned to Read.
