Khamai Foundation is an US- and Ecuador-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to combating the global biodiversity crisis and mitigating climate change. We achieve this by protecting critical ecosystems in the world’s most species-rich hotspots. Our approach is unique: we create reserves specifically to safeguard amphibians and reptiles, a group often overlooked in conservation efforts. By protecting these animals, we also preserve the habitats that support hundreds, if not thousands, of other species.
