Khilah Owens is an author passionate about children and their well-being, particularly in the context of grief. Khilah is an early childhood educator, administrator, mentor, and coach. She is a daughter and sister to three siblings. On July 21, 2023, Khilah lost her father during a family vacation, which deeply affected her. This profound loss inspired her to write about losing a parent or loved one, aiming to convey that heaven is a beautiful place and that although our loved ones are physically gone, they remain with us in spirit.
