As part of its Quality Statement – Environmental Sustainability: Sustainable Development, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) expects social care organisations to provide green plans and policies to help meet its quality statement on environmental sustainability, as well as providing staff training on environmental awareness.

From 2025, the CQC will be assessing how well your organisation is meeting this quality statement during your assessment.
