About Me

Kirsty Opal is a neurodivergent, working class novelist, poet and somatic bodyworker based in London, England. She founded Kindred Orange, a creative community for makers of all disciplines. It's publishing arm, OJ Press champions working class and neurodivergent writers who struggle to break into mainstream consideration.


She has been featured in multiple anthologies and her debut novel under the K.M.Mackmurdie, 'The Inheritants', placed as a semi-finalist in the ScreenCraft Cinematic Novel competition. I'm Lonely, Too is her debut poetry collection and the inaugural pressing of OJ Press. Submissions are open for in process or completed works including poetry, short stories and novellas at www.kindredorange.co.uk.
