Raised in Simpsonville, South Carolina, Leonard still calls the Upstate home today. He is a devoted husband, father of three, and proud grandfather, who is deeply rooted in faith and family. In ministry, he serves in multiple roles, including Deacon, the Bishop’s Armor Bearer, Sunday School Teacher, Bible Study Teacher, and Marriage Counselor alongside his wife. He also leads as President of the Kingdom Stewardship Book Club. Over the years, he has poured into others through coaching in a variety of capacities, including as Head Coach for a church league basketball team and YMCA basketball, as well as Assistant Coach for Little League basketball, Little League football, and high school basketball. Professionally, he dedicated 30 years to the automotive industry as a Material Handler and also spent nine years serving people as a part-time Life Insurance Agent and Broker. His coaching background reflects the heart of his gifting: helping others master the fundamentals of life. Though he has served in leadership roles, his greatest strength has always been teaching foundational skills and breaking things down so people can understand, grow, and succeed. Whether on the court, on the field, or in life, he finds joy in helping people discover their position and purpose, then equipping them to thrive in it. That same passion fuels his Kingdom calling. He believes one of his spiritual gifts is teaching others the fundamentals of Kingdom living, helping them understand not only the “how,” but also the “why” behind God’s principles.
