I was born in Beijing, grew up in the Redwoods of the Pacific Northwest, and am now surrounded by concrete in Brooklyn, NY. I share my knitting, dyeing and fiber obsession with my sister and mother and it's one of the ways we connect across this country's great expanse. I dream of co-authoring a knitting book with them that brings together the city and the forest. I works as a cinematographer, editor and camera person and knitting is a balm to my technology addled brain.
