Konrad Jerzy Piwowarczyk (born 26 November 1979 in Warsaw, Poland) is a Polish writer, art director, and copywriter. He studied Classical Philology (Institute of Classical Studies) and Polish Studies (Faculty of Polish Studies) at the University of Warsaw, as well as Modern Greek Philology at the Center for Research on Ancient Tradition in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe at the University of Warsaw OBTA (currently: Faculty of "Artes Liberales"). In 2002, he received a scholarship from the Greek Government at the University of the Aegean.

Graphic designer, art director and senior copywriter by profession, author of Polish and foreign advertising campaigns; specialising in branding and corporate identity design.

He speaks and writes in Polish, English, Hebrew and Greek. He is the author of Polish translations from Latin (Horace 'Carmina'), ancient Greek (Aristotle 'Poetics', poems from 'Palatine Anthology', Plato, Plutarch, Herodotus) and Modern Greek (poems of C. P. Cavafy & Y. Ritsos).

 

A passionate traveler, for the last 20 years he has lived and worked in the Mediterranean and Middle East area. His personal odyssey began on the Greek island of Rhodes. From there, he traveled to Portugal, Spain, Italy and Greece. For a year he lived in Cyprus; for nearly six years in Israel.
