Ian Paul Sharp is a music writer based in Olney, Buckinghamshire, specialising in reviews, features, and audio essays about significant albums.
In LP: Inside the Album he writes longform essays. LP Radio is a series of podcasts where great albums are heard properly through story, sound and serious listening. He also curates a fortnightly playlist, LP Select, for which he writes an annotated listening guide.
Pete Townshend’s Lifehouse is his first book. Ian is a long-term listener to The Who and Pete Townshend’s solo music.
