Ahsaki LaFrance-Chachere, author of When I Fell in Love with Country Music

About Me

I’m Ahsaki LaFrance-Chachere, a Diné and Black entrepreneur, storyteller, and founder of LACHACHERE and Four Arrows. Originally from the Diné Nation and now based in Houston, I’m building a life rooted in family, music, and Western culture alongside my husband, professional cowboy Dennis Chachere.

Horses and rodeo are the glue to our story. Through my writing, I share what it means to embrace my identity, build businesses, and love this cowboy of mine. Four Arrows began as a boot company and grew into saddles and our Rodeo Saved My Life merchandise, while LACHACHERE brings our vision for music and storytelling to life.

I’m also an aunty who dreams of becoming a mother someday. My book in progress, When I Fell in Love with Country Music, explores the experiences that shaped me and the life we’re still building together.
