Who I Am

I’m Deshaun Jackson, founder of La’Heart Desires. A platform rooted in healing, growth, and purpose. What started as my personal journey through loss and self-discovery has grown into a mission to inspire others to rise from their own struggles and build meaningful lives.

Why I Started

After losing my father, I was forced to confront grief, identity shifts, and the question of what truly matters. In that pain, I found purpose. La’Heart Desires was born to help others find their strength, rebuild from within, and leave a legacy they’re proud of.

What I Aspire To Become

I’m becoming a better man, a more grounded leader, a vessel for truth. Whether through my writing, reflections, or the stories I share through Legacy Spotlight, this is my offering. A space for those who are healing, rebuilding, and learning to trust their own path. I’m on a mission to grow into a positive transformational community leader, impactful speaker, mentor, and purpose-driven author. I created La’Heart Desires from a place of deep loss. When I lost my father, I lost more than a parent. I lost direction, guidance, and a part of myself. But in that grief, I also found something sacred: the desire to rise again, with intention and heart.

This isn’t just a business. It’s my soul’s work.

It’s a reflection of every moment I’ve spent rebuilding, learning, and choosing faith over fear. And now, I’m committed to helping others do the same. I’m still learning, still growing, and still walking this path, just like you. But my promise is to keep showing up with truth, tools, and heart.
