Legacy Spotlight: Shaun Clark

Legacy often rises from loss. For Shaun Clark, it became a mission after the tragic passing of his 19-year-old son, Shaun Jr. (ShayJ).

On March 31, 2015, ShayJ was skateboarding with friends when his board slipped into the street. As he stepped off the curb to grab it, he was hit by a car. But it wasn’t the impact that took his life, it was his head hitting the pavement without a helmet.

That moment changed everything.

Shaun founded 4shayJ to educate kids on the importance of helmet safety, turning pain into purpose!

Work from the heart. Not money driven,” Shaun says.

And I stand with him on that. Purpose over profit, always. When it comes from the heart, it lasts.

Still, the road hasn’t been easy.

“Our biggest challenge has been getting schools to call us back and letting us in to speak with children.”

But Shaun stays committed, knowing that even one conversation could save a life.

Thank you, Shaun, for honoring your son’s memory by protecting others. Your legacy is real, powerful, and needed!
