Lassal is an artist and the author of several illustrated books.
For the last 20 odd years, she has worked as an illustrator and photographer for global advertisement and communication agencies, NGOs, research institutes, the European Parliament, amongst others.
Her project Fingeralphabet.org – a site that provides revised high-quality manual alphabets for free download – garnered critical acclaim and a nomination for the German Award for Civic Engagement.
