Hi, I'm the teacher behind Learning Uncomplicated.

I spend my days in a classroom with some of the most wonderful, complicated, needs-a-different-approach kids you'll ever meet — and every resource here was built the same way I build my own lesson plans: tested with real students, adjusted based on what actually works, and made simple enough to use tonight, not someday.

And then there's Ivy.

Ivy is my 3-year-old goldendoodle — though somewhere along the way, she lost her doodle. Her curls gave up and she just... didn't stay curly. Honestly, it fits her. Ivy has never once cared how anyone looks, sounds, or shows up — she just loves everyone, exactly as they are, no exceptions. Every kid who's ever walked into my classroom nervous, unsure, or different from the kid next to them has met that same easy acceptance from her.

That's the whole spirit behind the Read With Ivy series: every learner met exactly where they are, no pretending the curls have to stay perfect.
