About Hazel E. Bain

I am Hazel E. Bain, a healthcare educator and wound care instructor with a passion for making healthcare education practical, accessible and meaningful. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching nurses, nursing students, caregivers and healthcare support workers, particularly in the area of wound care.

I created Legacy Academy to share knowledge that can help people care with greater understanding, confidence and compassion. My goal is to develop practical educational resources, guides, workbooks and courses that connect knowledge with real-life care while helping learners understand their responsibilities, recognise their limitations and know when professional help is needed.

Through Legacy Academy, I hope to build a lasting educational legacy—one that empowers people to learn, care better and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
