About Me
Hi, I’m Kim Gallo — and if you’re feeling overwhelmed by a new autism diagnosis, you’re in the right place.
Many parents come to me in the same emotional space: worried about their child’s future, unsure what to focus on first, and exhausted from trying to sort through conflicting advice online. My goal is to help you feel calmer, clearer, and more confident—because you don’t need to have everything figured out right now, but you do deserve support and a plan.
I’m a Speech-Language Pathologist (ASHA-CCC) and former Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst, and for over 20 years I’ve worked with autistic and neurodivergent children, teens, and young adults in early intervention, schools, and private practice. But more than anything, I’m someone who truly understands how personal this journey is—because I’m also a parent of a neurodivergent young adult.
I focus on the areas that matter most in everyday life: communication, emotional regulation, and relationship skills. That includes helping kids express their needs, handle frustration, understand social situations, and build the skills they need to make and keep real friendships—without forcing them to mask who they are.
My work is neurodiversity-affirming, practical, and relationship-based. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter advice or unrealistic expectations. I believe in helping you understand your child, support them with compassion, and build a home environment where communication and connection can grow.
If you’re unsure about what comes next, I want you to know this: you’re not alone, and you don’t have to do this without guidance. I’m here to help.
