About Me
About the Author
Killrain Lewis is a Florida native who has called the Dallas-Fort Worth area home since 2016. He holds an AAS in Computer Science and Mathematics, a BS in Psychology, an MS in Counseling Psychology, an EdS in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Graduate Certificate in Management and Leadership, and is a doctoral candidate in Social Psychology.
His work as an author, educator, and nonprofit leader has centered on one consistent belief, that people grow most in the presence of someone who is paying attention. That conviction is the heartbeat of the What We Carry series.
Killrain is the founder and executive director of UnitedWerks, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing education programs, homeschooling curriculum, life coaching, publishing support, and community services. The What We Carry series reflects the values that guide that work, honesty, presence, and the particular power of a well-timed conversation between a young person and someone who stays.
He is also the author of more than thirteen books across multiple genres, and an active screenwriter with projects in development across feature film and television.
