I finally received my first batch of prints from Vograce, and I’m thrilled with how they turned out. I went with a matte coating and the Aether Mermen solo piece includes UV elements that catch the light beautifully. The size is a bit unconventional - 12.7 by 17.8 cm - but it looks as a nice upgrade over A6. The print quality is noticeably better than what I got from my local shop, which I had to give up on after several rounds of testing.

The finish turned out much more velvety than I expected, especially compared to the local shop’s version, which I also tested with a similar coating. My room is usually quite dim, so the prints look more muted and subdued indoors. But in sunlight, they transform - bright, vivid, and full of depth. It’s a striking contrast for me.
Here are the photos: one taken outside on a sunny day, and the other indoors, slightly edited to reduce the influence of warm lamp light.

All prints have a postcard-style layout on the back, since I wanted them to have a functional side in case anyone felt like actually mailing one. Unfortunately, with how the matte coating turned out - it looks so soft and easily marked - I wouldn’t risk sending them through the mail without proper protection. They’re better off framed, gifted, or kept safe in a collection.😉😉
