Light-up standee designs started popping up in my Insta feed, and I kept thinking how cool it would be to make a Lantern Rite - themed standee. And then bam - the very next month Vograce introduced light-ups too! I made this illustration with a standee in mind, but getting the item made wasn’t exactly straightforward.

First of all, I couldn’t order the product directly to my country because of the battery restrictions. I had to place the order under a different product and then negotiate changes to the product type. On top of that, the initial version only allowed one insert, but as you can see, the design really shines with two.
I ordered two items, but one arrived with a jammed socket. So for anyone ordering from me, I’ll add special foam protection to keep the socket safe. As for the batteries, I tried ordering them from Temu, but 8 out of 10 were dead. Luckily, the first one I tested worked so I wasn't mislead that it's product mailfunction - though very faintly. Since these batteries are scarce here, I ended up buying one locally at 20 times the Temu price… but at least it was excellent and gave a super bright light (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧ (yeah Temu, you really failed me on that one)

But the result? Absolutely amazing! I’m really happy with how it turned out. I am very happy that I tried it.

Next standee is regular 3 insert, but with holographic fireworks background. Both are miniature compared to other regular sizes, and fit my shelf very well, unlike other merch I can't put there.
