Back when Natlan was released, I drew an illustration of Aether cosplaying Kinich.
At the time, I thought it could make a nice standee. But in my opinion, it didn’t have enough detail for that format - and I didn’t have the energy to revisit it yet. So instead, I cropped Aether’s head and… yes, turned it into a keychain!
Unfortunately, the original illustration was too low-resolution, even for a 2.5'' keychain. After resizing, some parts looked blurry, and I had to fix a lot of line art - practically redrawing the pixelated Xiao-Bird from scratch. The colors on Xiao Bird were also not very friendly for CMYK but since some parts were blurry I couldn't just replace one and leave the rest without any artifacts.
It was a bit of a struggle, but definitely worth it. The final result looks great, and the yellow + green combo turned out to be a lucky choice. (●'◡'●)
My phone keeps adding this dynamic motion-like effect. I don't know how to get rid of it.（；´д｀）ゞ
