Melissa Reber is a Certified Wilson Dyslexia Therapist and Academic Language Practitioner who spent twelve years teaching in public schools before starting Linked in Literacy, LLC in 2022. Her path into this work was personal as much as professional: in all her years of teacher training, she never once heard the word "dyslexia," and had to learn the hard way how to actually teach a struggling reader to read. That gap is what drives her now. Today she homeschools her own children and works with families across the country, providing dyslexia therapy, in-depth literacy evaluations, school document review, and parent advocacy support, alongside writing parent guides and educator resources grounded in the science of reading. Her mission is simple: help parents trust what they're seeing in their child and turn that clarity into action.
