About Me

Hi, I'm Levi—a dad of two little girls who loves the scriptures and loves our Savior, Jesus Christ.

My background is in Behavioral Science and Family Studies. I graduated from Utah Valley University in 2011 and earned my Provisional Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) credential. My education focused on behavioral health and family science, particularly the field of prevention—helping children build strong foundations before problems have a chance to take root.

I'm not a clinician, and I'm not a researcher presenting my own studies. I'm simply a father and curriculum writer who has worked hard to understand the research and apply timeless gospel principles in practical ways for families.

Much of the help available for children comes after they're already struggling—after the meltdowns become patterns, the worries become habits, or the challenges have already taken root.

That help is important, and I'm grateful for it. But the mission of Little Scripture Travelers is different. It's designed to help parents build strong roots before the storms come.

That's why everything in our books happens during the calm of bedtime. As families consistently read scripture stories, talk about emotions, practice gospel principles, sing together, and pray together, they're helping their children build habits of faith, resilience, and emotional strength. A child can't learn a new path in the middle of a storm—the storm is simply too loud. But when those lessons are practiced night after night in peaceful moments, they become familiar. Then, when life's challenges eventually come, children already know where to turn and how to respond.
