Little Strummers Method™ was created by Mark Slavin, an early childhood educator and program leader with more than 25 years of experience working with young children, families, and educators.

The method grew from a simple idea: children don’t have to master an instrument before they can experience the joy and developmental benefits of making music. Through strumming, singing, movement, rhythm, observation, and leadership, every child has a way to participate.
