Hey, I’m Olivia—but you can call me Livy.

I’m the creator behind Livy Lifestyle and The Glute Project, based on Vancouver Island, BC. I’ve been going to the gym for over a decade, with a passion for building strength, growing my glutes, and understanding the work behind lasting progress.

For years, I loved training but wasn’t seeing the changes I hoped for. Around two years ago, I became more intentional with my nutrition and followed a structured training program. That’s when I began to see a meaningful difference in my strength, body composition, and confidence.

This space is where I share the experience, lessons, and training approach behind my own journey—with plenty of heart and a commitment to keep learning.

My Fitness Journey

My progress has happened in phases, each with a different focus and something new to learn.

January–June 2025 | Building the foundation

A focused fat-loss phase where I worked on consistency with my training and nutrition.

July–December 2025 | Body recomposition

My focus shifted toward developing muscle and improving my shape, with less emphasis on the number on the scale.

January–April 2026 | Building muscle

A dedicated muscle-building phase centred on getting stronger, progressing my lifts, and fueling my training.

May–August 2026 | Revealing the work

A leaning-out phase to reveal the muscle I’d been working to build while keeping strength and muscle retention in focus.

September 2026–present | Adapting and recovering

Prioritizing my health, recovery, and maintaining muscle while adjusting my training to what my body needs.

These phases have taught me patience and the importance of having a purpose behind my training. My goals have evolved, and my approach continues to evolve with them.

My Approach to Fitness

I take my training seriously, and I want it to fit into a life I enjoy.

I typically train four to five times per week, with a focus on glute development and building a strong, balanced physique. I follow a structured plan, track my progress, and give exercises time before deciding what needs to change.

My training centres on purposeful movement, good technique, and progressive overload. Progress can mean more weight or reps, better control, or feeling more confident with a movement.

Nutrition is another big part of my routine. I prioritize protein, fuel for my goals, and leave room for foods I love. Yes, that includes a donut or eggs Benedict every now and again. 🤎

I’ve also learned to respect recovery. There are times to push and times to adjust. Staying consistent means building habits I can return to through different seasons of life.

That’s the approach I bring to The Glute Project: structure, effort, patience, and room to be human.

From a Note in My Phone to The Glute Project

The Glute Project started as a little note in my phone—a place to keep my workouts. Over time, it became something I wanted to put real care into and share.

Volume 1 brings together a training split I’ve personally followed, alongside guidance on progression, nutrition, and recovery. It reflects an earlier chapter of my own training journey and the lessons I learned along the way.

I spent hours writing, organizing, designing, and refining this guide. I wanted you to understand how to approach the program, challenge yourself, and keep building on your effort.

Created for intermediate to advanced gym-goers, it’s a self-guided digital PDF for people ready to bring more structure and intention to their training.

I’m proud of what this little note became. Thank you for supporting it—and for letting it become part of your journey. 🤎
