Rob Gilpatric is a dad with two teenage

daughters and zero patience for the

higher-ed sales pitch. He spent two

years pulling apart the financial aid

machine so his kids — and you — could

walk through it with their eyes open. He

has a BA in Humanities from the

University of Colorado, Boulder. He lives

with his family in New Jersey.
