Love Notes for U was not simply created as a business - it was divinely inspired and deeply personal.

The heart behind this brand is rooted in the lives of my parents, Henry and Catherine Clark, whose love and legacy continue to shape the way meaningful moments are honored and remembered.

Growing up, my mother had a beautiful habit of celebrating people. Whether it was a birthday, anniversary, or special milestone, she always expressed love through the gift of words. Greeting cards were her way of making people feel seen, valued, and appreciated. She believed that words had the power to uplift, affirm, and celebrate the people we love.

Later in life, my mother was diagnosed with dementia. Walking through that journey with her became a powerful reminder of how precious our memories are and how important it is to preserve the stories that define the people we love while those memories are still alive and meaningful.

When my father passed away, there was a deep desire to honor his life in a way that truly reflected the man he was - an incredible husband, father, uncle, and friend. During his homegoing service, a written tribute called Legacy Memories was created to celebrate his life, character, and impact.

In that moment, something became clear.

Words have the power to preserve legacy.

They allow stories to be remembered, love to be celebrated, and the moments that shape our lives to be carried forward for generations.

Today, both of my parents have passed on, but their influence continues to live on through this work. Love Notes for U was born from that realization - transforming meaningful moments into written keepsakes that can be shared, revisited, and treasured for years to come.

In many ways, this work is a quiet tribute to the two people who first taught me the power of celebrating others through words.

In loving honor of Henry and Catherine Clark.
