About Luke Lewis

Hi, I’m Luke Lewis—a pet, wildlife, and portrait artist based in beautiful Perth, Western Australia. Living here, I’m constantly inspired by the incredible wildlife and natural surroundings, which deeply influence my artwork.

For the past three years, I’ve specialised in creating highly detailed, realistic drawings using only the world’s best coloured pencils and graphite. I focus on precision, texture, and emotion in every piece, using a variety of tools and techniques to capture even the finest details.

My journey into art started later in life. After many years working as a nurse, I felt the need for a creative outlet—something that brought me joy and personal fulfillment. With time, practice, and passion, I sold my first piece and began turning my art into a business.

Today, I’m grateful to combine my love for animals with my passion for art. Through my work and online offerings, I aim to share what I’ve learned, inspire others, and continue growing as an artist.
