About the ALEPH Mission

The ALEPH mission (Australian Lunar Experiment Promoting Horticulture) is Australia’s first attempt to send plant life to the surface of the Moon. Led by Lunaria One, the project brings together scientists, engineers and outreach specialists to explore how life from Earth can survive in the harsh lunar environment.

By testing seeds and plants in a small, pressurised habitat on the Moon, ALEPH aims to lay the groundwork for future sustainable living in space - and inspire a new generation of explorers here on Earth.

We have created resources for ALEPH’s outreach mission: to invite more people into the journey and share the science behind it in a hands-on way.
