All hair meshes are made differently, and with the addition of baby hair mesh add-ons, the humble hair texture can be left looking a little lack luster or may need tweaking to suit.

I have made a Do It Yourself (DIY) Shine Kit.
I had the help of ShopDR who tested the DIY Shine Kit on GIMP on various hair meshes within IMVU Create Mode - whilst I tested them in Photoshop in addition on various hair meshes within create mode.
This kit is a PSD (Photoshop) file (which can be used in the latest versions of Gimp) and has adjustable layers and blending options for the experimental and creative hair creators to blend and overlay to their heart's content.
You can now add personalised shine/highlights/lightness to your LyL Hair Textures (256x256)

It is recommended that you have experience in editing textures and have knowledge of a graphic program (Photoshop or Gimp) in order to use the LyL DIY Shine Kit effectively.
