With their fourth album Schmid's Huhn turns its focus to Paul Hindemith and his work “Des kleinen Elektromusikers Lieblinge” for three Trautoniums. The music treats Hindemith’s material as a point of departure for a decisive transformation. It negotiates structure, energy, and collective risk in real time.

An energetic live album, recorded at the legendary LOFT in Cologne in 2024 with Felix Hauptmann (p, keys), Chris Lightcap (b), and Fabian Arends (dr).

The two musicians Lars Duppler and Stefan Karl Schmid explore the music of their second home, Iceland, together with guest artist Hilmar Jensson. Atmospheric soundscapes, nuanced interplay and captivating improvisations, which are translated into their own compositions and arrangements as well as traditional Icelandic music.
