About Me

Michelle Flanagan is a passionate advocate for cultural healing and empowerment. Born and raised in Washington, D.C., her many talents landed her in front of her peers in school talent shows and local pageants, and she still enjoys singing and making people smile. She has served as a substitute teacher, earned a food service license from UDC College to feed children in D.C. after-school programs, and worked for the Environmental Protection Agency in S.W. D.C. before transitioning into multifamily and commercial property management. Now residing in Georgia, she's still a devoted mother and grandmother, draws on themes of resilience, faith without fear, and authentic love to inspire others.

Her debut fictional memoir, Unfiltered Love from Brokenness to Authenticity, is written for every woman who once whispered when she wanted to scream. Michelle lives with quiet courage, championing trauma recovery and the beautiful journey of becoming whole.
