About Me
Dr. Deane Holsey is a well-known Minister in Cordele, GA. She grew up in a Christian home, where religion and spirituality have always played a central role in her life. Dr. Deane Holsey followed this religious path throughout her life, eventually leading to a career in public education, entrepreneurship, and ministry.
Deane was employed as an educator in the Crisp County school system for thirty years. She previously worked as an Instructional Technology Supervisor, Media Specialist, and classroom teacher. She is a small business entrepreneur, owner of Made 4 Service, LLC, and Co-owner of WH&L, LLC.
Dr. Holsey accepted the call of God to "minister to youth and in revelation" in December 2008 and was licensed to preach the gospel and exercise her gifts as opportunities allowed on February 8, 2009, under the direction and leadership of Reverend Greg Williams and Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church. Evangelist Dr. Deane Holsey was ordained on March 6, 2016, under the direction and leadership of Reverend Greg Williams at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, where she currently serves as an Associate Minister, member of the Pastor's Aide Ministry, and continues to sing in the choir and play the piano as needed. Dr. Deane Holsey was elected on June 26, 2021, as the Pastor of Jerusalem Baptist Church, Ellaville, GA, and subsequently installed in that capacity on February 13, 2022. Most recently in August 2024, Dr. Deane and Rev. Johnnie Holsey were given the assignment to relaunch New Life Church of Leesburg in Lee County, GA. The Holseys, along with their co-laborer in the gospel, Min. Brenda Jones seeks to encourage and motivate others to build better lives through Jesus Christ.
Additionally, outreach ministry has allowed her to assist with the Food Bank and Angel Food Ministries at Marthanna Living Way of Christ Church in DeSoto, GA for many years. She has been active in several community outreach programs which include the EMBC Nursing Home Ministry at the Cordele Rehabilitation Center, Donate Life America, Courage 2 Give, the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation of Southwest, GA, Inspire to Inspire by Brenda and Schwann's Ministry. Deane along with her husband Johnnie also served as foster parents for 10 years to over 20 foster children of all ethnicities and gender.
Dr. Holsey has been faced with many challenges in life. However, she has learned through trials and tribulations that she is “Chosen to Conquer, and Destined to be delivered." She is an encouragement to all she meets and shares that adversity can be overcome with Christ Jesus. Her motto shares that we are "Made 4 Service". Dr. Holsey's vision is to inspire others to be servants of God. "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them". Ephesians 2:10.
Dr. Deane Holsey enjoys all aspects of her work and considers her ministry to be more of a way of life. She is always available to talk and offer spiritual guidance and support to all.
