Hey y'all! I'm Erika, the heart and hands behind Mama's House!

I'm a proud Southern mama of two, cookbook author, and creative entrepreneur with a passion for good food, family, and bringing people together.

Growing up in the South taught me that some of life's greatest memories are made around the kitchen table. There's just something special about a home cooked meal, good conversation, and being surrounded by the people you love.

As a mother, one thing that has always been important to me is making sure my family has delicious, satisfying meals without spending a fortune at the grocery store. I know firsthand what it's like to stretch a dollar, plan meals around a budget, and find creative ways to make simple ingredients into something special.

I believe feeding your family well shouldn't mean spending beyond your means. You don't need expensive ingredients or complicated recipes to put a wonderful meal on the table. Sometimes the simplest meals bring the biggest smiles.

Outside of the kitchen, I enjoy reading, participating in book clubs, writing, planning gatherings, and finding creative ways to celebrate life's special moments. I love a good girls' night, a fun themed party, and any opportunity to bring people together for laughter, fellowship, and unforgettable memories.

My love for cooking and storytelling inspired me to become a cookbook author, sharing recipes that celebrate Southern comfort, family traditions, and the joy of preparing meals from the heart.

That same passion inspired me to create Mama's House.
