I'm a wife, mother, sister, aunt and a grandmother to 22 grandchildren. I was raised by my two aunts who were both childless. When they said it takes a village to raise a child this is so true. My mother was unable to take care of her 7 children. My aunts each took one of my mothers girls me and my sister. They both loved to bake treats for the family. My Aunt Carrie's specialties was cakes and my Aunt Mamie's was pies. I watched them all the time. So I guess you could say that's were I got my cooking skills.
