Matt MacIsaac is a Cape Breton-born piper, composer, and teacher. A Silver Medalist at the Argyllshire Gathering in Oban and the first non-Scottish piper to win the Alasdair Gillies Memorial Recital Challenge, he toured for fifteen years with Natalie MacMaster and is a founding member of the Juno-nominated trad group Beòlach. He lives and works in Nova Scotia.
