Hi, I’m Sam McIntee Jr., founder of McTruss Mounting and Services and McTruss Academy. I’ve built my experience through real, hands-on work—mounting TVs, assembling furniture, installing fixtures, hauling junk, moving items, and helping customers get projects completed the right way.

I created McTruss Academy to take the knowledge I’ve gained in the field and make it easy for everyday people to learn. My DIY guides break projects down into simple, visual, step-by-step instructions so you can understand the tools, learn the process, work safely, and build confidence doing things yourself.

I believe practical skills are valuable, and you shouldn’t always have to pay someone else when you’re capable of learning how to do it yourself.

Learn the skills. Do it yourself. Get it done right. — McTruss Academy
